should i farm Dengar?

in terms of damage I think he is not that great. His Tenacity Down is very great though and he therefore actually is in my main Rancor raid team, so I would farm him yes

I also farm him, mainly for the raid but also for the credit heist. He's one of the priority for me now in the guild shipment with EE.

His greatest value is in the rancor raid, so if you want to perform better there, then I would recommend him.

You dont want Dengar for damage, Tenacity-Down is where he shines. Obviously good for rancor raid, but I also found quite good use for him in Crit/DOT-Team in AAT-Raid. Also he is great for Credit Heist and Crit%-Mod-Challenge.

I use him at G8 against the rancor. Team is Teebo, QGJ, Tusken Raider, Phasma, and Dengar. Did 2.6 million in my last raid (solo P1, about 30-40% into P2).

Dengar's damage is abysmal, at least at G8. Mine is a "death by a thousand cuts" team. His basic will provide assists though, and since I have 3 tm removers he has a 3/4 chance of calling one of them which can help a lot at times. His primary selling point is his tenacity down, but his speed down can occasionally be used if Phasma whiffs on hers.

He is an inconsistent factor though. His speed down has a low proc chance and is unreliable (lasts for 3 turns if it does land though, plus can stun to handle side pigs), and even with crit chance mods his tenacity down has low chance to hit. Phasma adds consistency with guaranteed crits and speed down.

I would wait and see where/if they place Tie Fighter somewhere farmable. His basic comes with tenacity down if it crits. He also has a base speed of 170 when max geared unmodded. His offensive stats are much better than Dengar also.
