I have mixed feelings about this event.
On the pro side:
- something new
- in theory really good/ cool
- doesn't make me mad because i instantly knew i couldn't unlock him (no DR)
- i already have every toon on g11/12 (except big z g8)
Then we have the cons:
- one weekend to get him (srsly?)
- getting stabbed in the back (were told we would never need journey toons for an event*)
- the way they introduced this event (a couple days before the event really?)
- no new content so the focus is completly locked on pvp atm (at least i feel like it)
- mooonnnneeeyyy$€$€$€
They need to make cash and i assume they got roped by EA because DR didn't bring in enough. (There were a lot of people that actually got him f2p)
And the last thing i want to mention is that i'm not sure if i/we should blame cg for this. I'm sure they love the game and try their best but this event doesn't feel right or like cg tbh. You can smell ea all over it. And they probably tried to avoid malak for as long as possible because they hate it too but they can't do shit about it when it comes to ea money decisions. That's all just my guess.
