Here's how you remove challenge gear:
Check out the repo.
Find the file in your repo that has the table of rewards.
Delete the rows that contain challenge gear.
Commit.
Push.
While you're at it, remove them from the other raids too.
If rewards aren't in an easily edited table or config file, I have serious concerns about your dev team.
