Let's stop with opinion and let's talk about facts.
Assuming players who wants to improve are smart and try to maximize their arena ranking (because that is what we are talking about), let's analyze this:

Based on 1744 accounts, 50% of leaders of players who ranks 1st at arena payout use Zaul, then 25% Rex, then 5.5% Zader, 2% Wedge and ZGJ (then others).
Obiously we can argue about sampling methods and all, but I suppose this is a fair representation of high level and mature arena leaderboard.
So just from pure facts (and no fake news), Zaul overpowers the other leads. And as for those saying there is diversity: No. there is one team (Siths) that is clearly superior to all the others, one team (Rex) that is tailored to counter the OP team, and a few teams (ZGJ, Zader) that can beat the latter team. If you prefer to put this in perspective: for every ZGJ/Zader team, there is 4 Rex teams and 20 Zaul teams.
