Any argument that’s made for excluding ST Han or Lando is a waste of digital ink. They are both smugglers. As mentioned here already ST Han was literally in the act of smuggling refugees in exchange for payment while he was wearing that stormtrooper outfit.
The only reason they are not smugglers is because CG doesn’t want us to have two easy characters for the event. Period.
