What I gathered from this data is that the drop rates stay the same for each item and the energy cost of the node does not effect the drop rate. So farming Stun Cuffs for 8 energy yields the same results (or better since you spend less energy) than the 10 energy nodes?
The most economic way to purchase stun cuffs is through the ship shipments, or by using 50 crystal energy refreshes. Buying Stun Cuffs for 1400 crystals should be avoided unless you need it right away. But buying Mk3 Halo Projectors for 300 crystals is a good value as it would cost similar in energy refreshes..
To summarize
Stun cuffs: Farm in 8 energy nodes and buy them in ship shipments.
Halo Projectors: Buy them in shipments for 300 crystals.
Is this right?
Stun cuffs don't have an 8 energy node.
