So no 7* Maul unless you spend a ridicilous ammount.

So unless i am missing something big getting maul to 7 will be near impossible. just from 80 to 85 you are about 20 bucks after tax per character and one of the material you can not get anywhere... what is the point if everyone at lvl 85. why not 70 or drop dv duels end to 55 like the yoda chew and then do all at 60? unless you add way more rewards or drops i dont see a way for players to get maul unlocked at 7 when Dv duels end comes out... FIX YOUR GAME AND MAKE IT REALISTIC TO UNLOCK NEW STUFF.

    stop pretending like things have not changed dramatically a smart player was able to get away only spending hard on one character to get the legendary that isnt the way. gear was a none factor for many and now they again found a way to monitize that.  There is nothing gained from this experiance from the player perspective. This has to be one of the most boring and uninspiring legendery events they have done. it's pretty obvious all they are doing is clocking in at this point.

    Fixing things needs to happen everywhere. The game bugs. CG's communication with the player base. And your spelling.

  • Without spending extra money, you have to wait to fully unlock the new legendary. Several months, maybe longer, after original release. I didn't have Revan during his first event, or Malak, or GAS, or SLKR and Rey, or JML, or Exec, Profundity, and Leviathan, or SK, or Baylan, or BKM, or Aphra, or JKCK, or GI, or JJB, or Leia, or Jabba, or GLAT, or JMMW. 

    ...which is exactly how I remember it being for the entire lifespan of the game. Not sure what you think changed. 🤣

    It's blindingly obvious now that this "Eras" gimmick and Coliseum are just SWGOH 2.0 awkwardly shoved into the old game—a greedy ploy to suck even more cash straight from players' pockets, while ramping up gambling addiction to insane, wallet-emptying levels. With their fancy new Saudi bosses in charge, CG is bound and determined to milk the Star Wars cash cow bone-dry... and then poof—servers get yanked offline quicker than you can mutter "microtransaction hell"

  • Materials are becoming increasingly accessible and it is worth mentioning the initial release of any journey guide character usually requires spending, the second is either very efficient farming or dolphin spending. So it would be unrealistic to get 7 star maul without spending during the era. But I have no idea how long we need to wait for the equivalent of the second run, where most could reasonably get the unlock. What’s new this time is you could get 4 star maul FTP in the initial run.

  • If by “material you can not get anywhere” you mean the Zerek Modules, you get them from the Marquee events starting at Tier 5. The Barriss Marquee gives you 30 each day on Tier 5, another 40 per day on Tier 6, and another 80 per day on Tier 7.

    However, when Vader’s Marquee hits, you get 210 a day on Tier 4, another 295 a day on Tier 5, another 210 a day on Tier 6, and another 320 a day on Tier 7.  So say the data mines.  That being said, CG doesn’t explain any of this anywhere.

    Otherwise yes, Mark 7 and 8 materials get expensive.  You get Mark 7 Materials from Maul’s event and from Vader’s Marquee but will need to buy at least 4 Mark 7 Material packs at $18 a pop to get the 6 characters (and not Maul) to Level 80.  And then 5 packs of the Mark 8’s at $20 a pack to get them all to 85. Anything for Maul or beyond 85 is extra.
