With "only" 30 toons at gear 10+ I need 49 sets of stun cuffs.
That's 2,500 stun cuffs. Start doing some math:
1. Save 200 crystals a day: buy 50 cuffs per week
2. Farm stun cuffs with all free energy and refresh reg energy twice: 12% drop rate. Yields somewhere around 8-10 more a day (generous figure)... 70 more cuffs per week
3. Buy cuffs and only cuffs from fleet shipments: 12 more cuffs a day (giving a great fleet rank despite the only thing you do is farm cuffs)....80 more cuffs a week.
So, we can spend 400 crystals and 1500 fleet tokens a day buying and farming stun cuffs, at about 200 per week. So, at having only 1/3 of the toons in this game I am 3 months behind on cuffs. Do you realize that's 3 months behind of doing NOTHING else but catching up on one currently needed piece of gear.
Go back to the list. It gets worse for the rest of the 1 billion pieces needed.
You first have to admit there's at least "a problem" before you can discuss solutions
I'm going to give you the best advice you can get. No amount of gear is going to fix the fact your best speed secondary is 13, and you only have 2 over 10. Forget about gear and start farming mods. Your G8 toons will fell like g11 with better mods.
Seriously, are you man enough to admit you're wrong and that there is actually a problem with the gear economy?
Also, my mods are perfectly powerful enough for everything but holding down top 10 in arena. I'm farming for quantity, I have more than 10 toons to mod. I get to #1 easily enough when I "try-hard" as my schedule permits, but I'm not an arena player. I don't like it. I actually have things to do everyday at 6 pm est (either eating dinner with my kids or taking them to their school sports or lifting weights). I cannot and will not play this game every day at that exact time because it wants me too. We don't get to choose this time or have any say in it but that's another complaint.
Look, I see your rank history, and we both know exactly what your life is like. This game controls you. For the last 15 months or however long you've been playing, you sit glued to your mobile device for that payout hour. Every. Single. Day. I don't know, maybe when you found this game in your App Store, you said to yourself "Gee, I'd really like to collect and battle with a deathrooper and shoretrooper, a Tusken shaman and Darth sidious". If you did, then congrats, things really worked out for you. As someone who is obviously a lot older and wiser than you, as a child I owned a plastic Darth Vader bust carrying case with about 100 3" tall action figures inside (Some of the poor kids in the neighborhood only had 10 but that's another story ) and I'd kind of like to collect and play with some of the more iconic characters in this universe.
If you can remember back in my thread I miss my payout more days than not because of work.
When you are "Farming for Quantity" don't expect to get your toons to the highest "quality"

Sorry hombre, not buying it. Anyone can do what you do. Which is collect only the top 10 toons that other people have discovered synergy in raids and arena. You don't sift through your collection, try out different teams to score in the raids with. You wait for other people to do it, then you copy them. I have FOO and Bistan because I tried different things, some worked, others didn't. I had Rey looong before she was "OP".
It's evident by my guild. We have 2x as many raid points as yours. I'm a big contributor to that success and I'll let you look into our discord channel and you can see all my screenshots, articles, advise and praise given by my guildmates. I look at your roster and we both know that you are not pulling your weight in heroic. Sorry, but those Zetas only started dropping like a few weeks ago. This has beeen out since October

What you small timers don't understand is that raising the gear level to 11 and soon to be 12 has doubled the gear requirements. That's fine to increase the demand, when you proportionally raise the supply. They have not increased the supply of purple gear in the entirety of this games lifespan.

Can somebody fact check me on this but does the HAAT give out gear? If not I could have swore I got a lot of new gear someplace. Maybe it was tournements or Heroic Rancor raids. I can't remember though my IQ is too low.

Lol I've beat it plent I have 90 Kanobi shards and it does spit out gear. Just like the tournaments and just like the rancor. If the devs wanted you to have more gear it would be in your prize box.

FYI, the new level of gear that HAAT spits out requires old purple gear components in extreme quantities. They haven't increased the supply, just squeezed the demand.

This is me. Not quite your 30 g10/11 but getting there.
There's nothing wrong with your collection. But again, I don't get this whole "just pick one" mentality, it's just plain wrong. It's definately NOT what is intended. Look, the three of you baby whale clubbers are ftp, and to be good without spending you have to limit yourself to 1-2 teams. There is no crunch and no need to spend when you focus on 1 team and 1 area of the game, but if everyone did that, there wouldn't be a game. The devs are CLEARLY pushing this game to a point where they want you to have deep well geared rosters. They just have made a mistake with their gear economy. Please educate yourself. I posted a link from Reddit months back where a dev actually did not believe that a player could need 200 stun cuffs at any one time. Really. It gets worse, read benacrow thread, I posted a video where Jon sealers and another dev admit their clueless to the gear requirements.
The problem is that I have spent. Not much, but enough to collect more than 10 toons. And when you realize that spending puts you in a hole that ftp doesn't experience, you stop spending. How is that good for anyone?
