It's a free market. The ONLY voice you have is what you do or do not pay for. If the platform offers something people will pay for, then they will provide. Different people have different means. Ultimately, a lot of these issues I see on the forum come down to either Class difference or a Gambling addition -- and I can guarantee you EA wouldn't touch that issue with a 10' lightsaber.
I'm sure dead-whale role-over is offset by other players who see competition loss has their chance to now be a top contender.
You've all saw a number of SW games recently for mobile and web. They're all spaghetti and Disney wants to see which licenses stick to Cinderellas castle wall the best!
Mobile gaming and microtransactions are still the wild west. Regulations are still working over internet gambling, I think all these games mobile and web, only have a few years before regulations creep in.
TL:DR - Your dollar is a vote. Companies, like politicians (even if they're one in the same), only care about people who vote. SW:GoH has no ad's, (thank you!) so it's doubly so.
