Not that I think CG's pricing policy and recent selling ethics are great, they are not. However, for 4 star in Era it's quite transparent, isn't it?
10k to get all the requirements to 4 star is pretty cheap. It should average around 2600 (I think) per character.
Reading between the lines, by the time you got to the last character you only had enough crystals for 1 pack. To get the 15 you required was almost a 1/50 chance.
You feel robbed because you hadn't planned out your crystal allocation and a 1/50 chance didn't come off?
2 packs per character (2598 crystals) alongside shards earned in their marquee event, probably wouldn’t be enough for 4* (15/30 after Marquee T1, T2 and then likely 2x7 from the packs). You might get one or two characters where you get a lucky pack drop of 10 or more shards, but it would be wiser to budget for 3 packs per character.
3 packs absolutely guarantees you’d get 4*, even with the worst RNG possible, as you’d get 3x5 plus the 15/30 from T1, T2.
I did the maths for getting two of the 1299 crystal packs - based on a probability of 12.9% that you’ll get more than 7 shards from one pack (thus guaranteeing 4* no matter what the other pack drops), you could expect to “get lucky” 24% of the time.
We know the OP didn’t get 3 packs. In fact, from another thread they say they are 8 shards short of 4* Assajj. That means they bought exactly one pack, getting the expected 7 shards. Buying one pack and bemoaning the drop rate when you don’t get 15 shards (2.44% chance of that happening) seems unjustified to me.
So I return to my question in my other post - why would an apology or compensation be due?
No need for anything really, just wanted to say drop rates should be improved.
Other than that dont really care now.
