love how the kyber 1 know/spend-it-alls answer this with a yawn. get real man. I agree completely. just had the same thing happen to me. I'm sure there's two counters out there but it sure wasn't my SEE Leia mandalorians or JMK

The counters are reliable enough that a lot of people have taken spider-maul of defence, including me. It feels like you have a decent shot and not facing him as much in the future as this catches on.

7.8 mil GP, Chromium, played for about 2-3 years, not even half a dozen purchases that were all less than £20. Maybe get your facts straight first.

  it seems mace and QA are the counters to keep on hand. lesson learned. i see why people like it if they have it. it is a true GL killer for a lot less time and money.
  is it OP? no question. will it remain OP for players that didn't spend $$ in coliseum? if it's gonna get nerfed, nerf it immediately. if not, keep it as is so we can all enjoy it at some point. if it's another, even higher cash grab toon, tied to a not-so-interesting game mode, that only gets to be used for a short time for a minority of players, again i say lame.

    And? There are plenty of cheaper GL killers than new Maul.
    
    It also clearly doesnt need nerfing if there are already 2 known hard-counters for it. More will undoubtbly follow as more people face that team.
    
    Add this to the long list of new characters that initially seem unbeatable but then end up having a miriad of counters.
    
    What are you on about with "remain OP for players that didn't spend $$ in coliseum", the initial post you show that its quite useful at 4*. That's OP for all.
