Suddenly many new guild members

First, this is not an recruiting for the guild, it is a question about how people find and come to a guild.
Our guild had nearly a year the same amount of members, some people left the game but new members only came by guild merges. Since two days, 7 new players joined the guild but nothing on the guild setting has been changed. Has anybody an idea why this can be happen?
What gets to my mind is that our guild might be displayed more often in the proposed guilds to join, but on the other hand - why now?

    Meanwhile, my guild has gone months without showing up in search, and we're down to 39 members now and haven't had a new person in all that time.

    ...maybe they'll release a pack, $99.99 and your guild will show up in search again. We'll call it the Hyperscam Bungle.


    How I recruit in my guild is by messaging allies and I get my guildies to do same too when we need new players, then get newbies to message their allies.
    Obviously messages are ignored or declined sometimes but overall works well enough to keep guild full

    If your guild is still running into this issue and you are unhappy with the priority (or lack thereof) then you should be adding to a report and discussing this at Answers HQ. That is how they prioritize issue with the software on that site.
