He's horrible.
I'm holding out hope though. I have collected enough materials to take him or Phasma to gear 10 at 80. Decisions, decisions. I wish it was a hard choice.
1) Keep tank classification
Hold the Line- party wide, and Finn counters whenever an ally is attacked
2)Non tank related, but fills resistance need
Rename Hold the Line to Medical Droid
Finn deploys a medical droid that restores 20% health and protection to all allies
3) Because
In addition to #1- Finn pulls out a lightsaber, burns a line into the ground and says "Thou shalt not pass." Finn does x4 damage with lightsaber and moves at double speed
Potency and % chance to proc need to be raised to gain viability. After the supposed speed nerfbats were swung, this slow as molasses character now packs less of a punch. Takedown hits in the 2k range non crit, and mostly doesn't land a stun or expose, and when it does try to land, we see resists.
Got my resistance team full 7* last week. I will be sitting on Pilot and Trooper in gear 8 for a while. They're just too weak to justify my resources. And their bump in protection (all the way to gear 11) just isn't that large per gear level.
Trooper was some fun on t6 rancor, but he was easily one shot with a slam crit. T7 he would need all the protection g11 could offer to survive, but he's resisted all the time so why?
