I've noticed a huge slow down in the Japanese market as well. I'm not in a very strong guild, but we have been growing at a steady pace. I've been with the guild since it was in the 20 millions and now we are over 100million.
Recently though our members are losing interest. Play time has reduced. The amount of guild participation has reduced. People are even requesting less gear. Mainly because I think everyone was requesting the same gear. Can't donate if every one needs it.
Some members have quit and new members aren't coming. We were trying to stay strictly in the Japanese time zone to make it easy to coordinate things, but I believe the Japanese market is too dry.
And please do not comment about its my fault for staying with a bad guild. I have truly enjoyed being in this guild and watching it grow over the past 2 years. It's just unfortunate that players have lost interest before we could complete some events.
