I'm not entirely sure if this is actually a game or a sociological experiment to see how much we'll put up with. Leviathan has made fleet into a coin flip. It's made GAC into a coin flip. It's made TW into a coin flip. And CG either doesn't know or doesn't care that there's a problem.
But you say hits on a good point: they've made it clear they regard "time spent in the game" as the ultimate metric of success. So turning all these events into giant time sinks is progress.
This is really funny. I've actually had this same thought before about whether this is actually just a huge study on gaming and gambling behavior and if they're actively trying to see what would get people to quit.
No. The entire system is based around player frustration. As long as the keep bullying players into rage spending.
This isn't research. It's PURE GREED, why would they want their precious whale suckers to quit?
