You raise a good question, but there are many characters that are lacking abilities, tags, or other things one would expect. For example, Wedge Antilles served as a part of Phoenix Squadron and worked with the crew on at least two missions, but has no Phoenix tag. Asajj does not have a Sith tag even though she was Dooku's apprentice, but Savage does. Visas who was a Sith Apprentice turned Jedi (Old EU Canon) has neither in game.

In short, Shoretrooper lacks the grenade because he simply does.

I don't care about shoretrooper missing grenade in the game but seriously bodhi was called "the pilot" half of the movie. He might have been called as pilot than he was called bodhi. I am hoping that he ana maybe baze+chirrut will get a stolen empire ship

yes. please make the blind guy part of a ship's crew. it's been a while since i laughed at the rebels.

We also have a blind monk who never does anything but dish out pain and he was one of the best healers in the game for a while.

He flew Imperial cargo shuttles. Not every ship in the SW universe has a name. But if you want the name of the specific cargo shuttle he steals that gets blown up by the Shoretrooper grenade, it was SW-0608.
