Talk about a huge disappointment. I am all for difficult, but this raid is ridiculous. Most guilds may finish once before Episode 8 comes out December 2017.
Animations are incredibly slow.
There is no strategy, just throw as many teams as you can and pray it does enough damage. Most my guild mates have realized if they auto they get about the same score as actually playing.
Why were tiers not given like in the Rancor Raid? This raid caters to those who spend crazy amounts of money.
Jawa and Jedi bonuses don't help them be more successful than other teams, ex. Wiggs and AOE meta does better.
I'm fine making it so one person can't solo it, but the health is insane. This makes it a boring and mindless grind.
Level 85 won't make a bit of difference, and you can't get the raid exclusive gear without finishing the raid first.
T6 Description says it's tuned for Level 80 with MK 5 Mods - that's a load of ****.
I don't expect to be able to beat heroic first thing and get Kenobi, but come on. How this raid is currently tuned most guilds won't finish normal for months.
I know some will disagree and I respect that, but this raid has successfully alienated 95% of the player base. I have always felt this game provided a fair challenge to all and difficulty was on par. But it's crazy to think that this raid is balanced. I guess our only hope is ships may change how things are. Otherwise this raid is definitely the most unbalanced and disappointing update SWGOH has had.
Agreed this raid sucks- It might be fun if they took the last 0 off the health. 33 million health is way to much for phase 1. My guild is 50% done. We have finished 3 T6 rancor raids in the same time.
- I really like the raid, find it an improvement on the Rancor raid, but I am speaking of mechanics & looks.
In terms of difficulty, its a pure unadulterated joke. The fact that a guild with all members at gear X or XI and mods need to spend one week on phase 1, is preposterous.
The problem is simple. Grievous has too much HP. Just too much of it. - Its been out for less than a week. Everyone is still fairly new to the raid and trying to find strategies that work. I strongly doubt anyone was able to solo the rancor raid in the first few days after its release so why would that be different here. Yes the raid is tough and no one will ever be able to solo it but we will find strong strategies that will allow us to complete it in half the time.
- Lamest raid of all time. Animations way too slow. Tuned by Neanderthals. It's like watching the same tv commercial for 20 minutes. It's destroying guilds, incouraging top talent to flock to super guilds. Destroying our community. Yada, yada. Congrats, you have trolled us all again. I look forward to how you can make this game worse with ships.
- Somehow they will. I can only imagine........ 10000 shards to unlock a ship or 99,000 crystals to buy the millennium falcon.
- Agree. The raid itself is a lot of fun. Devs just need to tune down the total health of bosses in the Normal AAT raid so that it can be completed at least within a week for semi-strong guilds (ie. guilds that could do Tier 7 Rancor raids within a few hours).
But I'm fine with them keeping the Heroic AAT raid the way it is, but maybe give reduced General Kenobi shards for the normal AAT raid so everyone can still progress towards getting him.
