TB QOL - Officer Commands

As we all know TB requires active participants to follow specific orders set by the guild leader/officers in order to get the most out of the guild.

Unfortunately the options we have are to set Focus/Prohibit and hope members follow what's posted. Nothing more is available to ensure the posted orders are followed.

My guild for instance has about 30 active participants so we set specific goals each phase to try and max out the stars we can achieve.

I cant tell you how many times someone has deployed in a shut off zone and pushed us over the limit for a star when we didnt want to get one yet.

What im proposing is a setting for the leadership to sbe able to set a limit to how much GP can be deployed to a zone. This way no one can ignore the prohibit order and the guilds focus can be achieved.

More control has been asked for years for TB yet nothing has ever been done about it. Im sure im not the only one out there that has had to kick people out for not following the posted orders cause players can ignore them and basically only get a slap on the wrist for going rogue.

  • We use discord to map and discuss what to do and not do.  Orders are posted there and brief messages in game on the nodes as reminders.  Example don’t deploy to a specific planet but do fill platoons and attack before deploying to the requested planet.

  • CG have consistently stated that they will not implement any changes that prevent players from playing the game how they want to play it. That’s why they won’t ever allow officers to remove teams from TW defences, for instance. (Though allowing players to remove edit their own TW defence squads would be a welcome addition that wouldn’t compromise their stance).

TB is the ultimate guild communication challenge. If you’ve got players ignoring the map instructions (I’m assuming you are also using the text commands on the map to explain that zones are closed?) then either the communication needs to improve or the player needs to move on to a guild that matches their free-spirited play style.

I’m a TB officer in my guild and was very proud when we got our first ever 43* haul in RotE last time around. I post platoon assignments and phase briefings every single day during TB on Discord but still very occasionally get members who stray from them, especially if what the briefing says doesn’t align with what the map instructions say.

TL;DR: don’t wait for CG to implement this. They won’t. Improve your guild’s communication and/or remove those that can’t follow instructions. This is the way.
