Yeah. Sorry that people who have already invested months (and for many considerable money) didn't agree with having the game "reset" for the convenience of new players and EA shareholders.
The game does not continue without new players.
The game continues with people spending money. Messing with proven spenders for the sake of potential new spenders is at best risky.
Exactly. Also, from a business standpoint, you want new people to want to catch up, but not by giving them OP mods where they can do it in 48hrs. You want them to spend $$ to catch up. That's how it works.
No one is catching up in 48 hours. Takes a lot longer than that to level to 80 last I checked.
And by the way, they still have the Omega system in place to make sure no one ever truly catches up to the early arrivals.
Its called "exaggeration". Most people that loved it were people that landed some good mods and were able to skyrocket in arena amongst people that put in months of grinding to get there. I get that. It's awesome for them. Now, they will go back to where they should be and have to get those Nubian Design Techs and Droid Callers like everyone else did.
People claim it was great under the guise of diversity. Please. That's a fantasy. People seem to think over time they would start seeing some of the garbage toons dominating arena thanks to mods. Nope. You would see teams with heavily modded RGs and Reys. Why mod junk toons when you can just make the best ones even better?- +1 Thank You very much, and now all the credits we wasted on t1 mods?

Should've seen Kit Fisto with Ima Gun di lead imo. All jedi team running on average 90k hp. Kit fisto was doing normals for 8k and attacking twice in a row. Didn't check his crit damage. But you're wrong here.
There were reports of Reys hitting for 100K on Flury. Reports of Rey one shotting unmodded RGs. I saw someone say their Leia was hitting for around 20K for a single shot. Yes. Weaker toons got stronger, but at the same time, the strong got even stronger.
I see what your saying, but we will just have to agree to disagree. I don't believe the Meta would have shifted much at all."jackTHErandom;561501" wrote:

Thanks a bunch to all the self-entitled whingers who got the mods nerfed into the ground with all your "the sky is falling" hyperbole. I was having the most fun I've had in the game for ages - the game was getting stale. I was just starting to be able to tune up the characters that I want to use (Boba, FOTP etc) and now it's back to the same old meta squads again and gear grinding.
^ this
Could not agree more!
We had endless possibilities on the table! Literally every toon (as long as g9+, lvl80, 7*) was viable! And now? Back to cookie cutter poop...
Yup. I even tried out T2 speed mods for fun sake and it did work actually. Also mixing defence health and damage mods. Now? Health all and still you get weak saucige results. It doesnt matter what mods enemy arena team example has. You can cut through it with same meta team.
And this is what i understand old player likes. Being confident that they dont have to work again making changes to already what like 3-4 months old meta teams? Yeah this is a progress for game that gained abosolutely nothing now with recent mod change. Only thing thats left is now broken potency.- @DarthMasterShawn
You realize the BBB is a private entity and absolutely irrelevant to modern day commerce, right? "Robbathehutt;560740" wrote:
Being able to solo the Rancor is not working as intended. You are not a raid boss, sorry.
@Robbathehutt
Exactly.
Exactly.- I'm genuinely very pleased with the changes to the mods. Sorry, but there it is. My issue was that they were overpowered and broke the gameplay balance; this has been corrected.
This reminds me of when Poe was nerfed - how many here threw their toys out of the pram when that happened...? "KyleKatarn;561611" wrote:

Only thing that was broken with mods was Rancor because it remained same and also giving out T6-7 mods. Anything else is just your illusion that something was broken.
Again... There was so much potential and all went down the drain...
Change is not always bad!
Shame on you all!
Yep....shame on all of us who think that all the time and effort put into leveling toons, earning stars, grinding out gear and omegas shouldn't be just thrown away and replaced in one, fell swoop and made essentially meaningless.
Shame on everyone who doesn't need instant gratification.
Shame on everyone who doesn't sympathize with those that want it all without having to work for it.
If you don't like this game anymore, you feel it's getting stale, go find a new game. The vast majority of players enjoy this game and didn't like seeing it basically turned into a brand new one with the old being thrown out.- btw, just a little note on the subject line..."self-entitled".
Miriam Webster defines entitled as "the condition of having a right to have, do, or get something"
So, as someone who expected to get something for very little effort, I think you need to point your "self entitled" finger 180 ;-)
