Can anyone complaining about the disks they’ve got tell me what the “good” disks are?
Any which make the feats more possible. For me my best example is X character survive feats. With 2+ AA I can go in with Reva, 2-3 inquisitors and whoever needs to survive and the enemies kill themselves on turn one leaving the required character alive. This works in most datacron nodes until 0% stamina so is very efficient. It may not be the only way, but it’s the best way I have found to multitask and make less grindy.
The Enchanted Assistance disk is amazing for any Geo-, or QA-related feats. The Gungans gain TM and bonus turns anyway, so it's hard to track, but I think it also helps the Gungans -- not that the Gungans have any problems in Conquest. It also makes Mon Mothma relevant, sort of. She's slow compared to the rest of the troop and her summon doesn't taunt, but it's probably still a serious boost to the squad after the rebel summon gets out there. I'm sure it's better with Luthen, but TBH since there aren't really any rebel-focussed feats I haven't even tried it with MM or Luthen.
Thank you for providing an example. I’ve only found 1 AA this run (starting s5 this morning), and that’s with always giving myself the widest range of choice by following the Challenge path, but I’m not complaining (not saying you are either, by the way).
Most of the “terrible disk RNG” threads never specify what disks they wanted, which makes me wonder if some of the complaining is just for complaining’s sake.
The prior conquest (luthen's i think), i started in S1 and by the end of S1 i had 3x ZA..1 blue, 2 green. The following month, i didn't get ZA until S4, and it was grey at that. So, yeah, there's extremely wide ranging RNG. Maybe eliminate some garbage disks and try and scale the level of disk up by sector a bit. It's inexcusable to get 95% grey in sector 5.
Yeah...leading with use Reva eliminates 90% of players....Other leads work, but Reva is a bad example.
I don’t think this is a very useful comment. I used an example from a fairly mature 9M roster capable of red crating, but not a fan of the grinding or is as mature as some others so I often have to cheese feats. Of course there are other examples. I shared this as the most relevant in current conquest for my roster.
Anyway, since I was talking about hard conquest being grindy. Normal does not need as much efficiency to be honest to red crate. That’s 4M upwards, which tends to exclude most rosters without Reva. Reva has been out for a good while, her requirements are accelerated and the mission is solved and very easy. So certainly more than 10% have her. Go into a 350-400M guild (approx 7-8M GP each) you will see whole walls in TW. Most 4-5M rosters should have some progress.
Plus you don’t exactly share an alternative specific example.
