Marquee is > than what we had before, so I'll take it getting the toon unlocked at least for free. I think many though are getting worn down just by the sheer volume of hard-to-farm characters being put in the game. Between KOTOR and Solo it's been a flood of multiple entire factions. With the very slow pace that most can star / gear / omega / zeta characters it's just way too much right now; the feeling gets to be overwhelming to a degree rather than a fun carrot cause the carrot dangling is 1,000 miles in front of you.
