Don't see a problem with these packs. Allows people who are willing to spend, but in a guild that can't quite beat the raid, a chance to get relic 8 if they want it. I think it was a nice gesture.

Aside from them being $50, when CG says that it’s an exclusive piece of material from the raid, it’s meaning its the ONLY place to get it. Not, shell out $50 and you can get it even though we said it’s exclusive to the raid.

Just like when they said the new mod slicing is exclusive to GC’s.

When CG said mod slicing was exclusive to GCs, the community was raging that they couldn't also buy it and how dare CG not let them buy it. So CG does let ppl buy this new relic pack (which if they didn't, the community would also be raging about) and yet ppl rage about that too.
