Wookies is one of the few factions that have grown slowly but consistently over time, rather than getting a faction focus with a bunch released in 6 months or less.
Currently they don't appear to have a plan to make Tarful useful outside the TB Wookie mission on Kashyyyk, though if they did have such plans, I wouldn't know about them. I'm just saying we don't have any public indications.
That doesn't mean you can't use them and have fun with them in certain places. Knock out a bunch of Conquest missions with them and have fun doing it. But we're likely going to have to wait a while if you want a faction focus on Wookies.
I'm not saying you shouldn't advocate for it. I would love more Wookies as well! I'm just trying to answer your question about why we don't have them already.
Maybe we'll get lucky and get a Kashyyyk raid someday. GMY, Wookies, Sep droids... Maybe there's some more lore I'm not familiar with that could rope in some other famous characters. If you get that, you're sure to get a couple raid-focussed Wookies. That could be fun.
