The reason why Credit Heist are less frequent

Or maybe they're planning a level cap increase and want everyone to be broke....

I'm at 1.3m gp and I have to concur only 4 teams in 5v5 which means if I full clear I get 400k credits. In 3v3 6teams and if full clear that is 6×70k= 420k credits. So with 4 GA a month 2 5v5 and 2 3v3 is 1.64m credit. And in heist the minimum is 2.5m credit.

Where the hell is better for me to have less credit heist with the idea that GA will compensate that loss. And btw GA full clear is not guaranteed.

Isn't it 400k x 3 for 5v5? So about 1.2M credits?

This is not only assuming galactic power but also assuming you can clear GA. That is a rare feat for me.

Credit heist is nice of course. Still there are many other ways to get credits these days. For example, there are three raids that pay out credits now; there were no raids when the game started. Also when the game started there were no ships, fewer events, no mods (which you can farm and sell for credits), etcetera.

I usually find that I’ve got enough credits—at least if I’m not buying mods or everything in weekly shipments.

In seriousness, I'm indifferent, but its probably good for the game as it's an incentive for players to be more engaged with GA. However, easy button for a chance at 10m a spin is still fun.

I think there are 2 issues here, if the GA cadence was part of the decision to have fewer Credit Heists (they may have been completely independent decisions).

1 - GA maxes out just under 5M credits for the month. Credit Heists average somewhere just under 5M per event, which used to run a couple of times a month.

2 - You have to be in the top GP bracket and win an additional 36 (2*11 + 2*7) arean style battles each month to hit the max of 5M credits. That's a lot of extra work and most players aren't in the 4M GP bracket.

Even if Credit Heists still run about once a month and we're trading an average of 5M credits (Credit Heists) for a max of 5M credits (GA), the escalation of difficulty seems unreasonable.

I am in the 4M GP bracket and clear the board almost every time and I agree with the sentiment:

GA is an awsome game mode, but 4 a month is a bit excessive and time consuming, so I agree. I'd rather have 2 GAs a month only and the previous CH frequency.

With the current CG leadership team, this is sadly the most likely reason.

Even if your equation was correct for all players, do you really think you’re getting more credits per month now?

Point two: if you’re at 4M GP then you probably have most toons unlocked and max leveled so you probably have somewhere north of 100M credits saved.

Point three: most new players and middle players (I’m 2.6M) have a lot of leveling to do and so I’m constantly spending credits just on character advancement, nevermind buying mods, leveling mods, and any other action that requires credits.

I’m reminded more and more of the “Everything is fine” meme where everything is on fire. This game is much less fun now than when I started around 18 months ago. Luckily my guild keeps me interested.
