This could come in many ways, but I think the best way would be in the form of some new separatist droids. All this droid buff love puzzles me a bit. I was on these forums a good deal the first year or so the game was going and droids weren't in high demand, even when they were good. Jedi were the constant "buff" calls - oddly there wasn't ever much love for Sith/ DS really. But how did droids become such a universally loved and demanded squad? GG and B2 and JE have been out a long time. GG has always been in high demand for a buff and his character, but not droids as a faction in particular. Really like your ideas. It would be nice if you added some rudimentary stats for him as well such as health and damage for the attacks.

Droids have needed a buff since launch. When you think of droids in Star Wars, you think if the separatist droids (besides r2d2 and c3po, which also need to happen), not hk47, some assassin droids and a few jawas. Droids, specifically separatist droids, are seriously underrepresented

It's because droids made for a viable arena team since launch up until recently. As much as droid lovers want to say that they have never been "meta", the truth is that they were always able to take ranks until recently.

These players are now, for the first time ever, In a position where they need a whole new team and thus their calls to buff them.

No I get that - not asking why some like chocolate and vanilla - what I'm saying is droids were not chocolate or vanilla. They were strawberry. There wasn't demand for strawberry before. What changed? Asking as the SW universe is wide - was there a comic or a cartoon or video game, etc that really pushed up the popularity of droids relative to 6+ months ago? I'm just trying to be informed and this puzzles me - figure I'm missing something that's causing the demand increase. I could also be off on this and there's no answer really. No harm to ask though :)

@OP - you have some well thought out ideas there. Very nice. I can't think of anyone that doesn't want GG to get a rework. Hopefully soon.

What changed is a bunch of factions got reworks and zetas while droids got nothing. That's the reason for all these posts.

Thanks for the feedback! I've always been a big separatist/ droid fan in general, but I feel that specifically separatists are in dire need of some love. I have no problems with the droids we currently have, it's just that the faction has no zetas, ships, or significant synergy, and there are really only 2 droids under the sep faction. Plus, there are plenty of pve droids in game, so I thought it would be nice to be able to use some of them in a squad. The commando droid stood out to me as it was featured in the clone wars animated series, and no one has really come up with any ideas for it. I hope this answers some questions.
