Thermal Deonators

Anyone else still think thermals need a general buff?

I mean in the right circumstances they are ok but very situational but for being a special when they do stick and go off all that time to set it up and hope it sticks isn't worth the trade off compared to most specials.

Some idea to how to buff all thermals without over doing it.

- make thermals a 100% chance to stick and can't be resisted

- upon critical inflict one DOT

  • Either make them dodgeable OR resistable, not both. Currently they can be dodged like a physical attack, or resisted like a debuff.

    What's your reasoning behind not having both?

    There are too many variables in play for thermals whether it be being dodged, or resisted.

    If they were to be undoggeable and not able to be resisted they could still be cleansed once actually placed.


    As of right now they do nothing special other than causing damage which a VERY high majority of special do more damage on top of having their own special
    Effect.


  • I don't think they should count a debuff, with all the positives and negatives around that. So unresistable
    Also think they should be 1 turn. Then detonate.

    They do gain potency based on physical and special damage of character.

  • I know, let's have them actually count for health steal damage and raid damage!

    Personally I'd like to see thermals undodgeable and place dots because you're pretty much on fire at that point.

    They do count for raid damage. Shows in the total, just not for that specific character.
