- DarthJobbieSeasoned TravelerNope Getting R5 toons does not mean fully geared/modded right omicrons or zetas so that has to be farmed and applied. If you have hotutils or even use Grandivory, good time to use to spread the love to those toons.

Has anyone else noticed that they don’t seem to be as powerful as Relic 5 should be? I mean both my Relic 5 Resistance & First Order squads are getting dominated in Conquest Normal Sector 2 like they’re gear level 12 toons. Is it possible there’s a glitch?
You need proper mods, zetas, synergies, and don't want to use a team that is hard countered by the team you are facing.- MasterSeedyRising VeteranNormal? That does sound weird, but many of their functions do depend on zetas, and the packs do not provide any zetas or Omegas (or Omicrons). Abilities are all at ability level 7 -- including the leadership abilities that you might be depending on.
For my money I would think that r5 should be enough to crush Normal-S2 even without your full leadership benefits (and other abilities). But what do I know? I've only played Normal the one time required to progress to Hard when it was first released, and Conquest was very, very different in that first incarnation.
As BabylonFallen says, do check your mods as well as your Omegas & Zetas, but after that also make sure that you're understanding the strategy of the squad -- where they work best and how to optimize your turn order and ability usage to get the maximum synergy out of your team. - DarthJobbieSeasoned Traveler

Remember that conquest, whatever the level, has modifiers so sometimes even an overpowered team can fail. - Presaria71Seasoned NewcomerThey've increased the difficulty in conquest significantly. Supposedly normal was brought down, but maybe it wasn't.

I haven't forgotten. That's why I suggested the OP check out where squads work best. Phoenix with their infinite crits can easily take down a JML squad on Hard. Probably on Normal too. Thinking about where you use a squad and against what opponent is an important part of Conquest.
@Presaria
Also a possibility. In that case, too, the difficulty OP is encountering wouldn't have anything to do with the toons being less effective than they should be at their relic tier and ability levels. - DarthJobbieSeasoned Traveler@MasterSeedy everytime i see a reply i think im warned lol. Totally agree that people need to consider everything thats needed.
