There's no problem imo. Ftp get drops for Rex and Kneesa esrly while people who paid for them get something for what they paid for. In theory a ftp can get one or both to 7* during this event if enough crystals were hoarded and spent. I could see spenders getting upset so the droid brains is way to say hey thank you for buying the new toon. Here's something for you during this bonus drop event.

Edit- I'm not getting any droids during this event but I might get a 7* Rex by the end I'm hoping. Kneesa will be later when she drops on a node

I'd be curious to know what the drops are. It would be cool if someone came back here and told us what the averages are.

You also don't actually need any droid brains to relic all of GL Leia's requirements.
