So I spent somewhere around 200 Euros for a 7 Star Gear 30 ST Luke which is of absolutely NO use to me. He does nothing in coliseum and he does even less in Era Challenges. Well shame on me, if you fool me once but it certainly will not happen again. This is in my opinion an absolute despicable display of greed, that you guys are showing here.

What could (and should!) have been a great celebration of one decade of SWGoH turned into a desperate cashgrab that could very well be the beginning of the end to this game. I have yet to read any positive comment on the new marquee system, Coliseum, era battles.

Concentrating the discussion on Relic Delta is retrospectively viewed a genius move. RD is the very least of the problems SWGoH has right now. Relic 10 is decent but also hidden behind a massive paywall. Luckily it doesnt affect the game too much as of right now. But it was a great diversion from the rest of the crap, that was thrown at us in this update.

Honestly...who was thinking it was a good and acceptable idea of whaling on a character für 150 bucks who then hits like a wet noodle unless you invest another 250 quid to take him to a halfway acceptable level?

I whaled on ST Luke because I had NO idea where this was going and out of pure habit of whaling every new marquee. But why would I continue to do that? I cant use him in PVP and watching him bashing at the Pirate AT-ST for 1 Damage for a couple of minutes couldnt be further away from fun than it is.

I have spoken to quite a number of whales in my and some other guild and I am not the only one with the above opinion.

I will continue to buy the episode and conquest passes. That will be all. This new content takes all the fun out of whaling.

Well it took a long time (and quite an amount of cash) to get on top of the wave. Of course one wants to stay there.

Like I said whaling for new marquees is more of a habit than a neccesity. (Pretty obvious) So you said we knew where this was leading to weeks ago, I think that is nowhere near the truth. What we did know is, the marquees were only released to PVP after the end of the era. What we didnt know is, that the character would be totally useless at 7* in the gamemodes he is participating in.

So I will just ignore your insult and say, what I said in the opening post: I will not continue to whale on anything marquee related after this ST Luke fiasco. I know quite a lot of people thinking likewise. So it will be interesting to see, how many ppl will whale on IG90 now that it is clear, that it is rather useless to do so. Luckily I do not have to look after every cent, but I do not hate my money enough to spend it on this.

Whaling btw does not have much to do with stupidity but rather with collecting characters in a collecting game. There were always good marquees like GM for example and bad marquees. ST Luke however is the first one, that is literally useless after taking him to 7* bc you cant gear him without further spending. That is what separates him from the rest. It was certainly not foreseeable and certainly not communicated beforehand, that this would be the case.

Lastly, what is wrong with being passionate and caring for a game that I have played for the better part of 8 years now?

All in all your posting is rather presumptous and arrogant (did I forget insulting?)

I wouldn't even buy the episode pass, I feel my rewards so far this pass are approx 75% down in terms of episode currency. Ive also held back on the conquest pass until I know if the later tiers are affected by RD&nbsp;

Yes, the new system is crap but all you are doing here is highlighting your own stupidity. And you've done it twice as you've complained about this before too. If a game affects you this much get some help.
