Whist I see issues with the new update this is still a FTP viable game. You don’t need a pass to enter any event or game mode. But of course most content will promote spending, if you are FTP I would expect to progress more slowly, but not have previously achieved rewards diluted.
My main concern is whether FTP pass is equal to GC rewards, which will be seen at the end of this episode. All estimates aside we need to see how it all plays out for players as many changes may impact the outcome. The feats may not be achieved in GC but dailies and other episode quests may contribute enough.
My second thoughts as someone often getting the conquest pass or pass +. I doubt I will pay for both concurrently. So I am disappointed they did not come up with a season pass which goes across all game modes. Or a deal so those who already spend regularly on conquest pass are not expected to purchase both at full price, as it’s starting to get expensive on the regular.
