Why would the dark side need an op tank like kenobi? Kenobi is just a cookie cutter character who doesn't provide any benefit to light side, except Jedi and clones who are pretty bad factions. There's also plenty of strong dark side tanks to choose from like shore trooper or unmasked kylo or zombie
If he is a "cookie cutter" then why is he in almost every top arena squad? He is arguably the best and most versatile tank in the game right now! Shore, Kylo and zombie are good, but not as good as he is.

He is versatile and not only benefits Jedi and Clones but also Rebel and Resistance teams! The Empire and the Sith need a tank like him.

Shoretrooper is not as good as GK!
Shore is a close step behind, particularly in a good empire team. Shore is also better against nightsister teams, thanks to his strong heal.
Shore becomes strong only in good Empire teams and is indeed perfect vs NS, but against the meta he is not as good as Kenobi! Shore's power is bound to the Empire faction whereas Kenobi's isn't and his kit fits nicely with R2, BB-8, CLS and JTR!
i thougt you wanted to run an empire team anyway, so what's the problem with that?
Anyway, people are slowly beginning to realize the reworks aren't that bad at all. I'm not even a "DS player" and i'm running a full empire team.
