This is the biggest time issue, IMO. It's not (generally) the time spent actually
playing the game, rather, it's the time spent doing mundane, tedious, repetitive tasks that COULD EASILY BE AUTOMATED OR DRASTICALLY REDUCED if the developers actually gave a fig about good UI/UX design.
They've made some welcome (albeit insufficient) updates with QoL features, but they're still far from the mark:
Every event should be simmable once you 3 star it.
Full roster mod snapshot feature would
dramatically reduce the time sink, in every area of the game.
Guild management tools are an absolute joke, to the extent they even exist. Officers should be able to search the full guild roster and make suggested assignments in TB, for most efficient deployment of units. Command messages in TB/TW should automatically be saved and give an option to redeploy automagically. We should also have the ability to rearrange or bump TW squads if they're placed wrong or someone accidentally sets with a wrong unit.
Give us another tab in our roster view, to bookmark nodes for farming. Heck, it would be ideal if we could even see what our daily energy income is, and set up farming profiles that run automatically in the background. I'm sure we'll still need to log in every few hours to claim bonus energy, but cutting out having to navigate through endless levels of screen loading just to farm a node for a handful of kyros or whatever, is ridiculous.
For that matter, we should always be able to tab through units/datacrons/etc. in any context where there's more than one. Why for the love of FSM do we have to navigate up and down into Each! Individual! Unit! when in TW/GAC?? It makes doing something as simple as a speed check, take literally five times longer than it should. Navigate down into one unit on a squad, tab over to the see the rest. And the fact we can't tab through datacrons is just... I mean... why?
These are a just a few things, that would reduce time sink, especially in more competitive/active players and guilds. Some may only shave of a couple seconds of a time, but when they're repetitive actions that we have to perform over, and over, and over...it adds up.

For events like smugglers run 1, or the ATST battle it’s nuts that simming isn’t possible. If they don’t want people to sim smugglers 2 then fine, but having a counter like for GW where you can sim after 3* it say 10 times would be a nice nod to the players.
