Maybe for the big guilds that have every toon at 7* and G12 it's ok, but in my guild we really are not enjoying it.
Too much effort for the rewards? Really? TW actually can yield some pretty good rewards for the effort. Just fill in random defensive teams. That shouldn't take more than 2 minutes. Then skip attack entirely. The rewards for second place are actually quite awsome for only two minutes of playing.
My point is, that you decide yourself how much effort you want to put into it.
If you think the effort is any less in high end guilds, then think again.
