To be frank this sounds more like a you problem. You have to look at things logically despite the frustration..CG want you to spend money with confidence, their model is ultimately to make money whilst legitimately providing a consistent quality product to keep its players playing and paying.
Sure, elements of the game can be viewed as "expensive" to some but if CG/EA did as you perceive to cheat people out of their money for no return of product then this game would ultimately die quickly.
So if there are technical issues I would say raise a technical ticket with good evidence/screenshot etc so that those in CG can determine your claims more easily. Those in technical support have an interest to help their players for retention and longer term health of the game, right?
Over the many years of play in SWGOH I've personally never experienced any purchasing fails or concerns. Take what you wish from this player experience. (and btw, No I don't work for CG)
