Time to quit

Think it's time for me to go. I could never buy from the in game store and now the only way I can use the webstore is with gift cards. Today I got charge for a purchase I never got and with reading how many people have the same problem or get crystals instead is it really safe to buy anything? Other people can get over being ripped off but I can't.

  • Just a couple quick points. They want you to spend money but when you don't get your item you are screwed. These boards are filled with people trying to get what they paid for with no help period. They get some canned response if they are lucky. I know if I would pay 30 dollars for a lst I expect to get it .

    I'm also an old school mmo player. I started with ultima online. I'm use to paying a sub and playing all I want. With this game I log on for the daily and thirty minutes later I'm done. I can't level anymore in coliseum and conquest is just frustrating to me. I never should of picked normal but I went by their recommendation.

    Guess I'm just frustrated. I'm use to paying 10-20 a month not hundreds just to progress and the things I want to spend money on I cant and when it comes down to it I want to play now but can't unless I spend money

     

    Oh and your good evidence of a problem should be solved with your paid receipt but it isn't. They want you to jump through hoops to just get a ai response

    Last thing go read all of threads of people that lost money then count the number of ea responses in them. That shows they don't care about that problem with the game

    To be frank this sounds more like a you problem. You have to look at things logically despite the frustration..CG want you to spend money with confidence, their model is ultimately to make money whilst legitimately providing a consistent quality product to keep its players playing and paying.

    Sure, elements of the game can be viewed as "expensive" to some but if CG/EA did as you perceive to cheat people out of their money for no return of product then this game would ultimately die quickly. 

    So if there are technical issues I would say raise a technical ticket with good evidence/screenshot etc so that those in CG can determine your claims more easily. Those in technical support have an interest to help their players for retention and longer term health of the game, right?

    Over the many years of play in SWGOH I've personally never experienced any purchasing fails or concerns. Take what you wish from this player experience. (and btw, No I don't work for CG)
