Expanding TW feels like a bad idea to me.
Improving matchmaking is sorely needed. More brackets are needed and better rewards.
If I recall correctly, when they changed it last they somehow incorporated the record of the last two TWs. They should increase that number if they are going to work on a system similar to the current one. If they move to something similar to GAC then it should work out on its own.
Something needs to change.
I think the consideration of a guild’s latest 2 TWs is actually the worst bit about the current matchmaking.
For a guild like mine, that doesn’t care about TW, we tend to get 2 matchups against TW try-hard guilds who are dripping with TW omicrons and Datacrons where we get rolled over. Then we tend to get matched with an unfortunate much smaller guild who can’t compete with us.
It’s hard to care about TW when 90% of our matches are decided the instant the match is made.
