@Legend91 In my opinion, with that thinking, you'll just trade one meta to another. Not at first, but the second iteration will result with the same stalemate as it is now.
The reason is, you can't create more powerful chars indefinitely. Revan created extreme imbalance. You can not make the same mistake. You need to correct it. But that requires bold moves. I've seen it in other software enterprises.
Revan was a clear mistake. Maybe not from business point of view, as the numbers may still add up, but from o design point of view.
The game can only strive in balance. Destroy it, and it's a one way road.
