Yeah, believe it or not Disney is pushing out new SW content, so SWGOH has to keep pace with that. When the Ahsoka series comes out you think they're gonna be releasing Phantom Menace stuff?
You want people to use them? make the team useful in existing content. Don't create a team then make unqiue content for those teams and remove content that doesn't use them. And by remove, i don't mean remove from the game, i mean it removes older accessible to most content from the rotation.
They don't get that there are two sides to the coin. Yes, if the whales leave the game is in big trouble. If you drive away the lower end and FTP, it will also kill the game. The whales aren't going to fork it out to beat each other.
Keeping the game healthy requires an influx of new players, both FTP and the big spenders - I agree with you there. But the whales have always forked it out to beat each other - people that spend hundreds or thousands of dollars a month on this gave have always competed at a level above (most) non-spenders or low spenders. The game was always designed for that, from the very beginning.
I'm confused about what content you think they've removed though. Inquisitors in particular have uses in all of the content that currently requires or allows dark side or empire factions. Are you referring to the galactic challenges for factions other than inquisitors that we didn't see because inquisitors were the current flavor?
If that's the case, it may surprise you to know that most of those inquisitor feats could be done with low gear and low stars - and the same is true for the Hutt Cartel challenges. In every one so far I've got red crate with only two hut cartel members at relic (Cad and Boba). The rest of the party was Greedo at G11, Boush at 3* G7, and Krrsanthemum at 3* G7. So yeah, the Flavor of the Month is required, but it's not like you need to spend money to get max rewards. I'm personally really grateful for that - CG has been pretty kind with these GCs in that respect.
