Honestly, that's all I'm seeing. Too much whining. And that's coming from me, someone who won't likely even be able to (without spending a bit, anyway) even get R2 to 7* this time around. I might, but...

I might, but it'll require a ton of credits to level a character from 1 to 85, and a lot of great RNG to get 47 more Royal Guard shards in time. Even then, my gear might not be enough.
This game, fun as it is for us, is a profit-driving game. It's not designed to give content away. It's designed to sell content. And the fact that you're so eager for it means they're doing it right.
Anyhow, that's my two cents. Agree or not, but please try to remember we're all here for fun, and keep it civil.
Legit question, though, how long have you been playing?
I think the frustration comes from folks like me who started early, but just missed the dodge meta so we never had any incentive to farm Old Ben. I'll very probably be able to get R2 up to 7*, but I've got 316 shards needed for Ben. We've been given about 3 weeks to prepare, so there's time and I might be able to get it done.
Friends of mine who started a couple months back, sure, they won't do it and they're fine with it because they're not even 80 yet. But when you've played 18 months and you're likely to be locked out? Of course you're going to be a little miffed.
