Toon and gear auction

Auctions are a bad idea because they instantly create a black market for stolen accounts. This game doesn't have much of that problem right now because there's very little you can do with a stolen account. As soon as you can make money off one, it will become a huge problem.

Alt accounts create problems too, and there are plenty of those out there right now.

Nothing like feeding yourself cheap gear from multiple accounts.

how about shard trade... say set up a request for certain characters's shards and trade for another. Eg. those with raid han can give shards to those who want em in exchange for Chaze shards from a whale.

I would love to trade CUP shards for GK....

The only way I see this having a snowball's chance on Mustafar of working is thus:

1) The initial star level of the character determines the value per shard
2) Credits are used as part of the exchange (akin to changing a mod).

Thus the lowly CUP can't be a 1:1 for GK. I can foresee a 5* shard being worth 10 4* shards or 20 3* shards or 40 2* shards or 80 1* shards. So 80 CUP shards equals one GK shard (or 2 Jyn shards or 4 Chirrut/Baze shards).

The only thing that could be tradeable globally right now is Mods. It's the only real 'item' in the game.

But yeah, Alt are a huge problem in all games - policing them becomes a job, so I don't necessarily blame CG for that.

As for Guilds -- I'd like to see the current "donation" system get replaced with a trade. You only get to choose what you will give and what you want in return. The ratio is predetermined by the game (it's kind of already set in the donations"

So it'd be 2 gold gear for 5 purple. or 5 purple for 10 blue. but it would simplify the transaction and help keep the abuse down. More importantly there's no issues with figuring out who donates the most or who shouldn't get anything or whatever.

I guess donations are kind of to help newer guildies... but with HAAT, what does it matter?

Not bad, the fixed ratios is a good fix to limit abuse. The only down side if you need to have x amount of an item to trade, but still doable.

I would prefer to keep this type of thing in a shop vs between 2 people, to really minimize abuse. They really need to figure out some sort of exchange shop for gear so we can get rid of the 1000+ we all have of certain gear.
