- Dropping down a single tier is pointless. It's not as if the full roster players in a 110m guild can't field teams to beat the teams of the 45 players from a 120m guild. Our guild has won TWs against guilds with that kinda GP difference. If this is your complaint you just messed up the strategy. People do lose TW without the other team exploiting.
If your dropping players for the difference in team quality to really come into play, then you're doing your gp so far that even winning gives a worse reward than losing at your full force.
Not to mention that the players being rotated out undoubtedly hate the guild for this dumbass "strategy", and will jump ship when a decent recruiter find them for a competing guild. - thomssi19708 years agoNewcomer

when your guild has an average GP of 2.8 mill you only need to sit out 3-4 players to drop down a tier. on a rotation you still end up with more zetas as prizes then you would if you went 50/50 and lost once in a while
Its clear to me that those defending the expoit are those abusing the exploit.
I gave a simple solution to fix the exploit to make it fair.
So why defend the current system? Would not want to stop those getting an easy advantage from having easy zetas now would we.
I think the proposed solution is a terrible one and we are certainly not exploiting it. We are 50m GP guild and nobody is told to sit out, they are told that if they sign up they had better contribute or they will be kicked (few freeloaders). Hardly the same. So after a bit of a cleanout last time we had 7 players not sign up for this, note "not sign up" rather than "benched". Also, it is my favourite part of the game right now, if I was told to sit them out as well as missing playing it I would lose rewards, I would be very annoyed. The guild we are up against right now is a 57m GP guild, pretty sure they don't have a full roster either. If they benched people so stronger ones could win (which I doubt), they got it rather wrong.
It is just possible people sit these things out because they have other stuff on.
Sorry, accusing others of this is just sour grapes because you are losing. - I agree with you @thomssi. I would not be happy to be asked to sit out. I’d be finding myself a new guild.
- It is not an exploit, it is poor planning and poor programming in the attempt to make you spend some more money in the game somehow. You should get used to it.

You seem quite upset today, several posts in quick succession. Perhaps take a step back and look at what you can do to improve your TW situation. I replied in your thread, perhaps you may find it useful."Dreislao;c-1418230" wrote:

Please, don't mistake me. I don't get upset for no reason. Me and my guild did some work to get some results out of the TWs: plenty of excel charts to list the strongest defensive teams and things like that. Hours of looking into our members' rosters to figure out the best setups. Do you know what makes me upset? Pointless work and wasted time. Especially if you put some effort in some thing and then you see all your efforts destroyed by a couple of selfish whales, resulting in:

Again I simply have to disagree, we are by no means at all a whale guild. We have steadily climbed from 96m GP up to 105 it has taken us weeks, we for some stroke of bad luck kept losing folks once we hit 100m. But what we have done is built a solid strategy with the tools we have. So far nobody in the 5 TW we have had has managed to breach the final two sectors. It has nothing to do with money spent at all but rather setting up so that your opponent does not clear your board and you clear enough of theirs to win."JoeSolo;c-1418192" wrote:
So your guild asks people to not register for TW’s? @snowhut
We just get volunteers. TW's are actually really poorly designed and boring. We have plenty of people that would just rather not do them and it actually guarantees us first place."snowhut;c-1418270" wrote:
