Why doesn't my Umbaran Starfighter ever dispell target lock? My fives is seven star, level 85, gear 8. His ship is five stars, level 80. It claims it dispells all positive effects, but rarely ever does for me. When I battle him, he seems to always dispell my Biggs and/or Umbaran after I use Mauls ability on him. Am I missing something or doing something wrong?

he dispels enemy ships if they're target locked. So he'll never dispel/cleanse target lock.

If your target is Target Locked, Umbaran will dispel the target's positive effects.Target Lock is a debuff, and not a positive effect to be dispelled.If your ships are getting dispelled by opposing Umbaran then it means your ships have the Target Lock debuff on them.

He dispells positive effects only if the opponent is target locked.

What do u have in team? do ur team have tie advance, bistan u wing, slave 1, tie fighter, and so on.. ships that have target lock capabilities?

As you said, when the enemy is target locked he dispells all positive status effects on that enemy, target lock is a debuff and stays. I dont get why you would even would want it gone?

I spoke incorrectly, I don't want target lock removed. It's the taunt that I can't seem to dispell with him. When Biggs taunts I can't ever get rid of it with Umbaran for some reason.

you need to target lock biggs first, then you'll be able to dispel the taunt with umbaran's basic. (usually only for a short period of time because one of your ships will get target locked quickly and trigger biggs' taunt again)

For your Umbran Starfighter to dispel the taunt Biggs ship needs to have target lock on him already. If he doesn't then your US will not dispel anything.

This is the most likely answer.

Vader (tie advanced ) keeps refreshing target lock. This would be hard to see if 5s (Umbaran) is target locked.

Sequence of events:

5s dispels (if biggs target locked)
turn ends
TL reapplied (if vader present and it was going to expire)
taunt returns
