Unattainable Characters
I am just curious, are there currently any characters that are impossible to get to 7* if one were to start farming their shards right now? The reason I ask is because I know in some games there are ...

And that sir is why I am taking advantage of the shard shop DN atm. Without that, it may take a year to get him 7*'ed.
IMO, you're smart to use your Shard Shop currency on Nihilus. I also used all mine up to help get him to 7* and he's obviously awesome in Arena, but I also scored 1.1 mill damage in Phase 3 of the HAAT with Teebo (L), Nihilus, Chaze and Jyn team. Very useful toon.
I know that team very well form Youtube; exactly what I am setting him up for. I drained all my ally points and was able to obtain 105 DN shards. 7* or bust.
