That's not true at all. It absolutely is good for the game. If you just come out with more and more powerful characters that negate old characters you paint yourself into a corner. This is how all games start their decent into being unplayable. You start making it impossible for the majority of your player base to be competitive. Palp was easily beaten by several teams, and Darth Revan was still the dominant meta. This would be like the development team coming in and saying that enemy characters were unable to get tenacity up while facing Darth Traya during that meta era. Rex was a very viable counter to the sith meta last year. They didn't mess with him. Why are they messing with EP now?
It's just a sign that the game is in it's death throws. I don't see this game lasting another year like this.
