It would be really interesting if ships arena was open to more than just your regular arena shard...especially for players who are established when ships goes online, as we're all at square one (except people with lots of crystals, I guess).

But what I really think ships should do is take into account the 3D nature of space and movement as part of the strategy/tactics. If the ships are just sitting there like ground toons, then why the wait to level up? I'm assuming that because the locked ships table is in front of the Hutt, and he's been throwing shade since the beginning of the game and acting like you can never get to his level, then ships must only open for high level players.

When I read this I thought... how negative.

My next thought was that you're no doubt completely correct. Game does need some tlc than expansion.

Ships have been in the works since before the game went live.

They were supposed to be part of the game upon release. Everyone who has seen the ship content has been impressed.

I'm right there with you OP. I hope it adds a whole new and big element to gameplay.
