Seriously, EA needs to rethink this strategy and figure out a patch fix for this PITA feature.
They probably just realized most people use the squad selector, and any time you want to manually pick one by one you want filtered results, so we now have a filter option. There are so many better ways to pick a team not sure why you would ever just scroll through the list.
