Please refund zeta and all of the gear that was invested into Finn. This is a completely different character from the original and if this is the final decision to completely change a character the least you can do is give everyone an option to spend gear and/or zeta on this brand new character.
To give you a real life example of what you did here:
Lets say you went to a store and opted to purchase an Asus Laptop. 2 yr later Asus calls you up and requests that you send the laptop back because there has been a recall due to faulty parts. In exchange they promise to send you a Shark Vacume cleaner. How would you feel?
