- You've changed the reason I did this zeta and previously refunded people anytime there was a change to a zeta. Please refund this since it's not even close to the same.
- wgterry737 years agoRising NewcomerSo why change Finn and not the raid? You are going to make him not as released or as I purchased you understand what that means I assume.....
- CG: "OMG!! We're not getting nearly as much revenue as we use to! And the whales aren't paying nearly as much anymore! Ahhhhhh."
CG's Answer: "Let's gut one of the oldest character Zetas in the game. We've already made GP become an overall negative, and rewarded FTP players with GA. That'll get 'em to start paying again, and supporting the game."
- a former whale - This all drives home one fact, that can not, and will not change. Nothing is forever. Heroes can rise and fall in the blink of an eye. We stay, we play, we roll the dice, we hope for the best, prepare for the worst. This is a known fact. It has happened, it will happen, and with the fluidity of the game, it must. Now, we can accept it, or not. As is our choice. If you, like me, will stay, we forefit the right to be upset or surprised. Oh we'll still experience it, we just have to live with it.
- Like everyone else, I'd like my Zeta back. This isn't a minor change, this is a fundamental rework. With a +3% TM gain for each Resistance ally, we're capped at +15%, but we need a full Resistance team, which rules out characters like Nest or Sidious. The TM reduction is practically useless since there are characters that are immune to it. The benefit of Finn was that his team only needed to pop an expose. Now, we have to worry about the TM reduction being resisted on top of all that. In short, you took out the whole reason I, and many others, gave Finn a Zeta in the first place.
It doesn't matter how long he's been out, this is classic bait and switch. He might still be good, but that isn't the point. I didn't choose to give him a Zeta based on your reworked kit. Give us our Zeta back and let us decide if we still want to put it on Finn."Padas;c-1777085" wrote:
Um wow.
You completely gut his kit, take any expose synergy away out side of resistance. (I get 3po but i used zinn lead with other expose toons like Sidious or mace in tw and ga when my roster stretched think.) And have no desire to refund us the Zeta we invested in a character kit that no longer exists?
You break a character that worked for 2 years because you can't properly test your own characters before you release them because it broke your poorly designed and boring raid. And don't give us the **** that there are too many interactions because Zinn was the expose lead and you didn't test him with the new expose on basic mechanics you added!? It was literally the first thing many of us thought about when we saw that rebels and ewoks gain expose on their basics.
Yep my wallet is officially closed until you refund the zeta and let us decide whether or not we want to zeta this entirely different abilty. Knowing how ch opperates though it won't happen and the B1 marquee was my last purchase.
And they're going to use that last paragraph as an excuse to remove your entire post."ronnio;c-1777078" wrote:
One of many to come.... "I put a assets on finn to get first place in hstr. I can't did it anymore. Give ma back my zeta" sure. Hey your zeta back. But give back all the rewards you stole.
Deal. I never soloed anything, so give me my Zeta and I keep all the rewards I got because I never used the loop. "Boba_The_Fetter;c-1777084" wrote:

I'd save judgments till we can use the new Finn. NOBODY said b1 would make seperatists viable Agaisnt revan Jedi when his kit was revealed WITHOUT GG/Magnaguard rework and WITHOUT Droideka.
Reading a kit is never enough to know if it's gonna be good or not.
Nobody said these changes will not make Finn the new Revan. All people are saying is that since this is basically a new zeta ability and more or less a new character due to complete kit rework; the right thing to do would be to refund BOTH zeta and gear investment into finn, as well as credits spent on leveling him to 85. This way people will have an option weather to reinvest all/any of these resources into the NEW Finn."Electricboa;c-1777098" wrote:

Same here- Horrible decision and very poor way to handle it. Please explain how you can justify making these changes and not offering to refund the zeta. I don’t like the changes but even less is the decision not to refund the zeta when you completely change the way it functions.
- wow, so you destroyed Finn. Well done CG. Didn’t expected that. Wow. Thank You :(

Well no EVERYONE is not saying that, some are, and that's a fair point. But some people are automatically complaining that this will make their investment worse off (bar hstr P3 solo of course)
I agree if a zeta ability is changed AT ALL, the player should be able to decide if they wanna keep it or not regardless of whether the changes would make the character meta defining or something crazy like that but I can see why cg wouldnt want to refund zetas as players like myself who don't need an older zeta like Finns could use the free 20 zeta mats gained on something more currently viable like the new seperatists reworks for gg, magnaguard, Droideka b1 or B2 which would be far more beneficial at the moment. They'd essentially be speeding up a large portion of players progress which is probably Agaisnt their design plan
