Update problems

So I did my daily challenges at 1900 and then the update hit and hasn’t transferred them across against the quests… so I’ve done the Galactic War but have to do it again for the daily quest, but cannot as it won’t refresh until 1900 tomorrow…

    Same here as well.  Cannot do Galactic War, Fleet Challenge or Normal Challenge

  • The seven year anniversary update, includes breaking the game as usual. Nothing different and nothing changed in the past seven years lol. You would think the developers and the proper QA would’ve taken care of that before they released it. Same 7-year habits…

  • So some of us will miss one day of daily rewards. I don't think I will cry too much.

    In isolation that wouldn't be an issue. 

    It's not in isolation, though. Every month something like this goes wrong. Invincible Grievous, audio bug, Ultimate Journey currency bug. All those from just this year alone, and more I've not mentioned. Somehow only stuff that harms players, because if it's a boon to players, it's a hotfix within hours. 

    IDK man if I screwed up this much at work I'd be fired. This is a billion-dollar game with one Community Manager and some of the worst support I've encountered (though shocking great art at times). Shocking they treat us like this. 

    Of course, we are the morons who keep coming back to be treated this way, soooo.... 

  • I also have GW and both daily challenges feats left because I completed the. This morning. 65 crystals are not much but it matters and is one more thing pushing a 9-year player to just stop playing. 

  • I experienced the same problem and am unable to complete my dailies despite the fact that I have fulfilled ALL of the requirements.  I also did not collect my lunchtime energy refresh (the biggest one) because I thought it was a quest reward and I needed more time to learn the UI.  Not a good start for the updates.  Not feeling really motivated to buy some stuff despite the decent deals.

    I would be interested in finding out if the intend to reissue the daily rewards to people who got hosed.

    It's mostly the crystals and kyros I'm not happy about losing.  I completed everything, and then don't get the bonus for doing so.  Along with hundreds of thousands of others.  And as someone else said, this kind of stuff happens every month.  I'm still trying to get back crystals I lost due to game glitches from a month ago, several hundred.  I mean, bugs alone have cost me countless crystals.  So, yeah, it's fair to complain when they do **bleep** that absolutely **bleep** up gameplay and then they don't compensate players.  It's all take for them.  Tens of millions of dollars, and yet when they **bleep** up, they can't even give out in-game currency for a happier player base.  Freud would have a field day...  maybe 90% of the player base was abused as children and so don't know any better that this isn't how it's supposed to be (and Freud would probably add something about light sabers being phallic symbols, and Leia's buns being symbols of fertility).

    I just want to ask what game you’ve played where support was comparable to this one.  Seriously.  I’ve had bad experiences with different games over the years but this one I feel like they’re actively trying to frustrate me until I give up every time I open a ticket.  It’s just a round robin of people asking for your player ID and a description of the problem over and over instead of addressing the issue.
