These are Good ideas, but if you have noticed that most factions have themes, and droids are slow, Criticals, and AoE. So the speed +25 would be too much maybe +15. Another way to make him better is having direct hero synergy. Electro Staff Strike
Deal Physical Damage to target enemy with a X% to inflict defense down. If defense was inflicted and General Gervous if Present, call him to assist

If Gervous is present, taunt for 1 turn
Relentless protecter
Whenever Magna Vanguard's leader or Grevous is attacked, there is a chance Magna Guard will attack back at the attacker
I kinda doubt they would bring a variant for the Magna Guard. Also I think +25 speed is kind of justified if you look at how hard he is to obtain and then look at characters like Emperor Palpatine or General Kenobi.
