Vulture droids are hinted, not confirmed. Tri-droids would also fall under that heading as would arguably the mobile droid weapons platforms as seen in BF2 (the original one), SW:ROTS (Battle of Kasshyyk) and the Clone Wars episodes on Onderon.
Didn’t buzz droids pilot the tri-fighters? So they wouldn’t be crewless. Vulture droids would be crewless since the ship is the droid.
